Evening, gala and event dresses designed for one person, on her real body, in our Buenos Aires atelier.
A party dress bought off the rail is chosen from whatever was there. One made to measure is chosen before it exists: it starts with a conversation about the event, the body, the discomfort you do not want to feel that night and the photograph that will remain.
We work with noble cloth, we embroider our own designs and we intervene the fabric by hand when the piece calls for it. None of that is decorative: it is what makes the dress yours and nobody else's.
We do not adapt a pattern to your body. The pattern is born from your body.
Contemporary demi-couture
Couture here does not mean an overloaded dress or a silhouette from another era. It means the garment is built on you: your own pattern, fittings on the body, and decisions made while watching how the cloth moves when you walk, not how it sits still on a hanger.
We dress for weddings, galas, graduations, parties and red carpets. Each has its code, its light and its length: a dress that works seated through a four-hour dinner is not the same as one made for an entrance and a lot of photographs.

From the conversation to the delivery
Four moments. Between the first and the last there are six to eight weeks, depending on the embroidery and the intervention involved.

The conversation
Unhurried and with no commitment. Bring references if you have them, or bring nothing: we design the piece together from the event and from what you want to feel that night.

Cloth, embroidery and intervention
We choose the fabrics and the textures, and decide whether the piece carries our own embroidery or an intervention on the cloth.

The fittings
The pattern is corrected on your body, not on a dress form. As many as it takes until the fit is resolved.

The delivery
Finishings, a last adjustment, and the garment ready well before the date, not the day before.
The cloth, the embroidery and the intervention
We select the best fabrics, textures and embroidery for your design together. We do not work from a closed range: the cloth is chosen for that piece and for that body.
We can develop our own embroidery, designed for your dress and produced in the atelier. And we also intervene the garments by hand, either with textile paint or with heat-bonded cut vinyl.
That is what keeps a piece from resembling any other: the embroidery design and the intervention exist because we made them for you.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a made-to-measure dress take?
Six to eight weeks, depending on the embroidery and the intervention involved. For a fixed date it is best to start three months ahead: it leaves room to choose the cloth calmly and to do the fittings without pressure.
How much does a made-to-measure couture dress cost?
It depends on the cloth, the embroidery and the work the piece involves. In the first conversation we define the design and give you the quote before starting, with no surprises.
Do you make dresses for graduations?
Yes. It is best to start in August or September, because the parties are concentrated in November and December and by then the diary is already closed.
Do you make dresses for the mother of the bride or groom?
Yes, and it is one of the most frequent commissions. It is a difficult dress to buy ready-made: it has to be elegant without competing with the bride, comfortable for many hours and flattering in photographs. Made to measure it resolves itself.
Can I bring an idea or a reference photograph?
Yes, and it helps. But you do not need to arrive with the dress decided: in the first consultation we design it together from the event, your body and what you like.
Is the embroidery yours as well?
Yes. We design and produce our own embroidery in the atelier, made for that piece. We also intervene the cloth by hand with textile paint or cut vinyl.
Do you work with any body?
Yes. The pattern is born from your measurements and your posture, not from a size chart. That is precisely the reason to have a dress made to measure.
I live in another province or abroad, can I still order?
Yes. We take the measurements over a video call, with a guide of ours, and we ship across Argentina and worldwide. When travel allows it we prefer at least one fitting in person.
Where is the atelier?
We are in the heart of Buenos Aires (Malabia 1116, CABA). We work strictly by appointment, so we can give each person the time the piece needs.
