Cobain Jacket

The piece

A flagship jacket from our “Pliego” collection. It is the one Milo J wears in the “Bajo de la piel” music video, the lead single from “La vida era más corta”, and then throughout the tour. Two central pleats run vertically down the chest, building volume and structure, and the inset sleeves in figured jacquard read as a short-sleeved jacket worn over a shirt. A singular piece, and a visual turning point for the house.

Materiality

• Exterior · Wool cloth

  It has a completely matte, opaque surface with a warm look. It is a medium-to-heavy-weight cloth with excellent shape retention. Its firm, structured drape makes it an ideal textile for contemporary tailoring.

• Mangas · Woven jacquard

  A fabric where the motif is neither printed nor embroidered: it is woven into the cloth itself, in relief, thread by thread. The pattern isn’t on the fabric, the pattern is the fabric. An old, demanding technique that gives depth and a play of light of its own.

Composition: Exterior Paño chocolate - 20% lana - 80% poliester
