An author-design house from Buenos Aires where couture craft, artisanal tailoring and textile art converge with contemporary Latin American culture to create garments made to endure, and to become part of the biography of those who wear them.
The designer
Carlos Molina
Behind every piece is the vision of Carlos II Molina, a Venezuelan-Argentine designer trained in Visual Arts. His eye doesn't follow industrial logic, but that of the artist before the canvas: clothing as an extension of the body, as a refuge and as a form of intimate communication.
His pursuit is emotional permanence: to create garments that move you today and are treasured for decades. From the dresses that transform a night to the tailoring that redefines everyday elegance, every design is born to be lived in, not displayed.
Always looking for new proposals that challenge the traditional, with taste and comfort. We have been dressing the same way for too long, and tailoring has spent a century waiting for someone to move it.
We don't outsource. We don't mass-produce. We don't import.
Every garment is born under one roof, from expert local hands, with absolute dedication.

In the heart of Buenos Aires, our atelier comes alive: a living, two-floor space where the boutique and the creation workshop coexist. Here we design, cut, paint and sew every garment.

The craft
Artisanal, piece by piece
Our fabrics are canvases. Hand painting, artisanal embroidery and experimental dyeing: techniques that give each textile a singular, unrepeatable identity.
Our concept
Demi-Couture & Honest Luxury
We believe in demi-couture: the exact point where the accessibility of prêt-à-porter meets the exclusivity of couture-level craftsmanship.
Textile intervention
We hand-paint, embroider and dye experimentally; we build corsets and create textures with plotter-cut, heat-fused textile vinyl. The fabric stops being a support and becomes a work in its own right.
Limited editions
We work with small runs and exclusive capsules. In a world of infinite copies, we bet on singularity: every piece you choose carries its own story.

Atelier Molina: professional placement site for the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism, University of Buenos Aires
We were selected as a professional placement site so that future graduates of the Fashion Design programme can complete their mandatory professional practice in our atelier.
They work alongside our team on the very pieces that leave the studio: pattern making built on the body, cutting, corsetry, embroidery and textile intervention. A place where the craft is passed on, and one we are proud to keep open.
Does Atelier Molina host FADU (UBA) students?
Yes. Atelier Molina was selected as a professional placement site for students of the Fashion Design programme at the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism, University of Buenos Aires. The placements take place in our atelier at Malabia 1116, Buenos Aires.
What do the students do at the atelier?
They work on real production alongside the atelier team: pattern making built on the body, cutting, corsetry, embroidery and textile intervention.
