Radial Sleeveless Crop Top

The piece

The crop top is built from panels that radiate out from the collar, and every seam sits on the outside, raw edge in view: that layout is the whole drawing of the garment. The high collar is gathered where it starts and closes at the back with a concealed zip. It is cut in Italian shirting cotton, cool and light in body, which holds the shape without stiffening it. Wear it with a high waist, with tailored shorts or over another layer.

Materiality

• Exterior · Italian Albini cotton

  A shirting cotton woven in Albino, in northern Italy, by a house that has been spinning and weaving since 1876 and is now run by the fifth generation of the family. It is a fine-count cotton: a cool, dry hand, a light body that holds the line without stiffening it, and a matte surface that takes light evenly. It breathes, presses well and stands up to wear without losing its body.
