The piece

An Italian linen jacket at 245 g/m²: a heavy weight that moves past lightweight summer linen to gain structure, hold the shoulder, and fall straight without losing the fiber's coolness. Shirt collar, boxy cut, a length that hits the hip, made to wear open over a shirt. Inside, a green Bemberg cupro lining — the fiber high tailoring reserves for its best pieces — adds a quiet sheen and the cool hand only silk gives, without being silk.

Materiality

  • Exterior · Italian linen

Italian-spun linen, one of the finest in the world, with centuries of craft behind it. This 245 g/m² weight is heavy-linen territory: denser and with more body than lightweight shirting linen, built for structured tailoring that needs to hold its shape. It's the coolest, most breathable fiber there is, made for the heat. Its creases aren't a flaw: they're linen's natural signature, proof that it's authentic and alive.

  • Forro · Cupro Bemberg

A refined fiber regenerated from cotton linter, the fibrils around the seed that the rest of the industry discards. Silky with a quiet sheen, as soft as natural silk; breathable and antistatic, it draws moisture from the body and releases it, so it never clings and keeps the garment cool. It is made in a single mill in Japan, almost waste-free and powered by renewable energy: the lining reserved for fine tailoring.
